WHAT WE KEEP

Your email address, and the time zone your browser reported when you subscribed, so the card arrives at seven where you are.

Your answers to the five questions, and the stage they put you in. You can change them at any time.

A record of each morning's card: which card, the date, and the Bitcoin block number at the time it was sent.

Whether you opened the day's page, and whether you pressed the stamp. One mark each, nothing timed.

Any line you wrote when a card asked for one, and any sentence you clipped. These are your scrapbook.

Your answer to the one question about what a year of the paper is worth, if we asked it and you answered.

Your note on the fourteenth morning, if you sent one.

WHAT WE DO NOT KEEP

We never ask for, and have no way to receive, a recovery phrase, a wallet address, a balance, or how much bitcoin you hold. If anything claiming to be from us asks, it is not from us.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies. The front page remembers which entry you marked, in your own browser only, until you close the tab.

We do not sell, rent, or share your address or your scrapbook with anyone, and we do not use them to train anything.

When you use the "find my page" form, we keep a one-way hash of your network address for sixty seconds to stop the form being hammered. The address itself is never stored, and the hash is useless after the minute.

WHO HANDLES IT FOR US

The paper is a small operation and uses three services to run. Each sees only what its job requires.

Supabase hosts the database that holds the records above, in the United States.

Resend delivers the email. It receives your address and the card, and tells us whether delivery succeeded.

Lovable hosts the website.

The block number printed on each card is fetched by our server from a public Bitcoin data service. Nothing about you is sent with that request.

YOUR CONTROLS

There is no account and no password. The link in each email is your page. If you lose the emails, https://dailybitcoinblock.com/find sends you a fresh one.

Change my answers, in your scrapbook, changes tomorrow's card.

Export my scrapbook gives you every line as a text file.

Unsubscribe stops the paper. Your scrapbook stays readable at its link until you remove it.

Burn it all deletes your address, your answers, your deliveries, your lines, and every mark, immediately and for good. We keep no copy.

If you prefer to ask by email, write to editor@dailybitcoinblock.com from the address you subscribed with and we will do it by hand within seven days.

HOW LONG

A subscription you start but never confirm is deleted after seven days.

Everything else stays as long as you are a reader, and after you unsubscribe until you burn it or ask us to.

Email delivery logs held by Resend expire on their schedule, not ours, within a few months.

CHILDREN

The paper is written for adults. We do not knowingly keep the address of anyone under eighteen; if one reaches us, write to editor@dailybitcoinblock.com and it will be removed.

WHERE THE LAW SITS

The paper is published by Daily Bitcoin Block, an assumed name of Amble Dog LLC, 3003 East Michigan Ave #1154, Lansing, MI 48912, United States, under the laws of Michigan, United States. If you read from elsewhere, your data crosses to the United States when you subscribe. Where local law gives you rights to see, correct, port, or erase your data, the controls above do each of those; anything they do not, editor@dailybitcoinblock.com will.

CHANGES

If this page changes in a way that matters, the morning card will say so before it takes effect, and the date at the top will move.
